This family is one of my all time favorite families. I’ve loved every time I get to go out and take their photos. (just in case you haven’t seen them, the latest ones are here and here) I love how much fun they have together as a family, I love how gorgeous Janelle is, and how much Mike clearly loves her. I love that they are such amazing parents to Levi (and his soon-arriving sister) and I love that they let me take them to the forest for some amazing family photos. (one of my favorites is that they let me pick the location for their shoots… made for some gorgeous light during their session!!) This time, the most adorable red-head turned three, and had been practicing his numbers and his smile. :) LOVE that grin!!

This year has been filled with summer evenings up Millcreek Canyon for their family, picnicking with friends. So we choose a spot up millcreek with gorgeous trees, some tall grass and a few fallen trees. Which, clearly, are perfect for climbing and jumping off of.

When doing fun things like jumping off trees or pushing your favorite truck ever (trucks are a big deal around this family) it’s always important to concentrate just the right amount by sticking out your tongue. This kid nailed it.

This has been his favorite toy since forever. Snoops. Best of buds for all times. LOVE that they brought him along to be part of their family photo shoot.

Ok, cutest thing ever. Sky-bear is going to be loved. Big brothers are the best.

This is maybe one of my favorites. Janelle and Mike had been teaching him how to smile big for the camera. Naturally, when one smiles big, their eyes also close. :) So, he is being quite cooperative and smiling big for the camera, and keeping that big smile (with shut eyes) on whilst running & jumping. :) Adorableness.

All amazingly good picnics (or at least those you have to sit still through and smile for the camera) end with a tasty cupcake. I love that he thought it was SO funny that Janelle got frosting on her lip :)

Ok, perhaps my favorite (have I said that already?) We can see where he gets his big adorable grin from. :)
