Megan & Kendall : Part 1
Salt Lake City Temple, UT

It was THE perfect spring day. It had rained the night before, which may have given Megan a stress or two, but the rain totally cleared the air. The brisk morning air was filled with smells of blossoms. You could hear birds chirping as they fluttered from branch to branch, and the tulips were out in all their glory. perfect spring day. If, you were like Megan, who had spent countless hours planning a spring wedding, today was the perfect day. period. Spring-time graced the day she got to marry her love.

While Megan & Kendall were inside the Salt Lake City Temple, I was able to grab a few shots of the day.

Then, all married and oh-so-happy, they emerged from the Temple to greet family & friends with hugs galore. These guys are surround by two amazing families, I love the joy they all share.

How gorgeous is Megan’s bouquet by La Belle Fleurut?

After family portraits, we got to spend some time wondering the Temple grounds, soaking in the beauty of spring, and trying to grasp the fact that they are married. It takes a while to set in, the fact that this day had finally come, that Kendall got to marry this amazing gal.

A near slip into the reflecting pond made for some good dance move’s on Kendall’s part :)

These next few are my favorite from the whole day. We stepped back and let Megan & Kendall just soak in the fact that this was their wedding day. And this amazing weeping tree of some sort provided the perfect touch. I love how they just fit perfectly in the other’s embrace.

I don’t know why I love this all white photo, the background is gone, but it makes you focus on that look Kendall is giving his bride. I’m pretty sure that means I love you a whole lot.

Gorgeous. The bride, the groom & the perfect day, they were all gorgeous.

Then we all headed up to celebrate. Check back soon for more pictures of this amazing couple.

  2. These temple pictures are so refreshing, Amy! I loved you take on it- I thought I had seen it all, really, so it was a nice surprise.
I missed the whole flowery utah spring (which lasts about 3 days I guess), and these were a lovely reminder.
