Emily & Chris: Part 3
Red Pine Lodge Wedding
Park City, UT

Just before going into their reception, there was a bit of gorgeous light that we had to take advantage of while we waited for the Grand Entrance.

This personal touch that Emily & Chris did was a brilliant idea. During the cocktail hour guest could play carnival games that were painted to uniquely represent the couple – this one is emily’s, complete with Figment and other loves in her life.

Not only is the Red Pine Lodge perfect for an outdoor wedding, they also have this beautiful interior room overlooking moose as they wonder by (so awesome that this mama moose and her kiddo just happened to wonder by during dinner! the guests (and us) loved it!)

There was this gorgeous cake by Carrie’s Cakes. It was modeled after Emily’s tattoo – and was simply perfect. Well not simply, ornately perfect. It had more detail then many other cakes I’ve seen. The perfect peacock cake.

The toasts were this lovely mix of humor and sentiment. They had the crowd laughing and tearing up. What a wonderful celebration of Emily & Chris and what they have meant to their friends and family over the years. These two are certainly surrounded by love.

Then, the first dance rocked the house. Emily & Chris had totally taken dance lessons and had a super cute, romantic dance with little spurts of hilarious getting down-ness … maybe the highlight of the evening :) And it kicked of the dance party for the remainder of the evening. It was hilarious, and oh so fun.

Thank you again, Emily & Chris for letting me be a part of your wonderful day. Your love for life and each other is so beautiful. Have so much fun with the rest of your lives together :) And let’s go rafting soon :)

Hugs!

amy
