Reneé & Jonathan’s Wedding: Part 1
French Camp, CA

There was a slight breeze rustling the oak leaves. A sound that is purely California to my heart. Especially when it is paired with the view of almond orchards and strawberry fields. The smell of golden fields mixed with acorns. It was the sights and smells that surrounded this particularly gorgeous day. This day, Jonathan got to marry his high school sweetheart. It was a day they had both anticipated for many years. It was finally their wedding day.

The day started in Reneé’s family almond orchard. A gorgeous nod to her heritage that started the day off on the perfect note.

Amidst all of her thoughtful details, this may be one of my favorites. Reneé used her mother’s wedding gown to create her accessories for the day. The lace on her purse and her garter, as well as on the hanger that held her own gown were all from her mother’s vintage gown.

The gorgeous bride.

Seriously, Reneé, you are stunning.

We then headed over to The River Mill for their first look. I love how much Jonathan adores his bride.

These two have some amazing memories from dances together… so Jonathan just had to sneak in a quick dance under the trees on their big day.

This one, captured by Garett, just might be my favorite from the day.

Studs.

Gorgeous girls & a killer oak tree.

Ok, these kiddos just might steal your heart. So adorable.

Gorgeous couple. Gorgeous wedding party. Gorgeous day. They snuck inside for a quick break, while we captured some details, and then their touching ceremony. So can’t wait to share it.
