Beth & Zack: Part 1
Storm Mountain Wedding
Big Cottonwood Canyon, UT

The couple that I get to introduce to you today is perhaps a favorite of mine. They have an amazing legacy together, they are coming upon their 10th year together! So awesome. She is a hopeless romantic, but only on the inside. To the world she is a strong, independent lady who can take care of her self and often everyone around her. But to Zack, she is a mushy mess that adores his efforts to woo her, even after all these years. He loves that he can surprise her despite her structure, and she loves that he will dance in the kitchen with her and revel in the ordinary daily memories. A dance under a glowing street light that blossomed into a dance under the twinkling lights and shade leaves of their wedding… this is the story that I get to share today. Beth & Zack have a beautiful story that is so full already. And this day, just might top the list of amazing memories together, or at least be up there.

It started out separate. They woke up in separate places, and just enjoyed the time with their closest friends and family. She was at the Homestead Suites in Sugarhouse, surround with her seriously adorable sisters & friends.

Beth, not only is an adorable “other half,” but she also has some serious crafting skills. She made these clutches for her ladies to carry with them rather than flowers. LOVE. and she filled them with all the things a bridesmaid may need.

So remember how Beth is a secret romantic? Here’s my proof. She wore the scent that Zack knows her by. The scent she has worn since they started dating. These flowers are from the man who continues to pursue his love… from the flower shop he always gets her lilies from. Because, he always gets her lilies, and her wedding day should smell of lilies. That even makes me smile. And, clearly, Beth loved it.

Beth also had these adorable hangers made… her new dress with her new name :) And one for each of her maids.

In her thoughtfulness, Beth not only picked these adorable yellow wedges (I want a pair) for her maids, but also the super cute yellow sneakers for dancing the night away.

Since she is a secret romantic, Beth does not love things like veils, but since Zack loves birdcage veils, she can manage to pull one off, and pull it off well. Especially one this cute. Beth also carried this adorable vintage clutch that belong to her grandmother. Something old.

I so love this girl’s style. ADORABLE shoes.

While the ladies finish up, let’s head over to the groom’s place… where Garett was hanging out with the guys as they prepared for this big day. ย Love this shot he grabbed of Zack & Ansel’s suits.

Clearly, it is much more fun to don a suit when upside down on the couch.

Zack has some amazing men in his life. A few pics up there you will see his brother and officiant with traditional Hindu scarves he brought back from his travels for the wedding party, and below his groomsman brought sweet shades for the whole bridal party. Nothing like some sweet, unique accessories to make a wedding. More of those later :)

P.S. doesn’t Ansel just make you die with his modeling poses?!?! One awesome kiddo.

Back with the ladies, we were ready to put Beth’s AMAZING gown on. Seriously, this dress is gorgeous.

Zack sent over a surprise gift and love letter for Beth. There were, maybe, a few tears in the room.

From this expression, I’d say you did right, Zack.

Beth, you are stunningly gorgeous.

Then, we all headed up Big Cottonwood Canyon, to the place where they married. It was the perfect day for it. SO can’t wait to share those pictures. Check back soon for the sweet wedding.
