It was a warm summer day in San Luis Obispo, without even a hint of the typical summer ocean fog. The warm breeze rustled the oak leaves, and sparkled beautifully off the golden grass. The lovely sound of flicking oak leaves made the perfect backdrop for Ashley & Zach’s wedding. This was a wedding I felt truly honored to photograph. Ashely is a dear friend from back in my California high school days, and her heart is filled with gold. She is one of those friends who you just love fiercely despite time and distance. So, when she asked me to photograph her wedding, I was honored.

Here is just a glimpse into their laughter filled day.

These girls knew how to have fun together. I don’t think there was a dull moment the whole day with this fabulous group of girls.

And the guys knew how to have a good time as well. Watch out for this bunch if you want to have a good time. Don’t you just love it when an amazing girl gets to spend the rest of her life with a guy that can make her laugh?

These two shots might have made me tear up. During a quick tribute to those that couldn’t be at the wedding that Ashley & Zach love deeply, Ashley stole a quick glance at her brother that said a thousand words, and the sweetest flower girl got lost in the image from her grandmother’s wedding.
