Big Cottonwood Canyon

She was the high school beauty, he was, well a high school boy. And we all know those :) She had a secret crush, and he made her guess who was his crush. turns out, they had the same crush. Then the crushing was made official over facebook. And that is what I call a modern love story :) The best part about these two is that their love so often manifests in laughter. I’m pretty sure Jake kept Karissa laughing the entire session.

We spent the afternoon at Ledgemere, a campground up Big Cottonwood Canyon, which just happens to be the location where Karissa ended a romantic scavenger hunt and Jake asked her to be his wife. Such a special location that just happens to also be gorgeous.

 

One of Jake & Karissa’s favorite pastimes is to go off-roading in their fire-red jeep. So we just had to include her in some some. And I think they may be my favorite from the session.

 

I take it back, these may be my favorite – i just love the connection these two have.

 

Congrats Jake & Karissa, I had so much fun with you guys and can’t wait to laugh all day at your wedding. :)
