Copenhagen, Denmark
travels

Tomorrow I get to go home. Let me tell you I am excited to squeeze that hot hubby of mine, snuggle with my pup and catch up with all my fabulous friends. So, as I head to a long plane ride that ends wonderfully, let me give you a glimpse of my home for the past three weeks.

The adorable cobblestone streets of Copenhagen.

Since it was Denmark and we did have to go tour the brewery. They had awesome Budweiser-like mascot… only, clearly, as a European Clydesdale they did need to have a sweet hair style.

I’m sort of in love with this neighborhood, Ny Havn, right on the harbor, old ships, and fabulous restaurants. And it lights up like this at night, and they pull out their warm blankets and candles and you can enjoy a romantic dinner with the sound of swaying ships in the background.

We took the train one day to Helsingor, the spot of Hamlet’s Castle. On a seriously gorgeous day.

Some of my favorite things were just everyday life. The bikes. Walking everywhere. The really kind people, and delicious food.

These amazing city parks with couples walking hand in hand. :)

Rosenborg Castle. The home of the crown jewels. amazingness.

It even had a fabulous cafรฉ for one to stop in for cheese and wine after those jewels.

In a word, Denmark, I’m enthralled. Gorgeous country, with uniquely romantic gems hidden in those nordic cobblestone streets. I’ll be back.

  1. Amy, I LOVED the photos. I love how you capture feelings and emotions with your pictures. Totally phenomenal. I love your work..

  2. Amy, I’m so proud of the artist you’ve become! These photos show understanding of composition, color, design and desired scenes. Well done! The skies in Denmark are incredible and you’ve captured the true spirit of this Nordic land. Keep up your great ‘eye’. Traveling outside of the US is required for all artists….get out! You’ve got the right stuff.

    Much love,
    Great Kate
