I love taking family photos, and I love taking photos for families that I already know and love, even more. It’s such a fun window into people’s lives to spend an afternoon taking photos. Especially when there is much laughter involved. :)
Josh & Diana are some great friends who used to live in Salt Lake. They have since lived in all sorts of fun and exciting places around the world. But, they were able to sneak away from their California home and spend sometime in beautiful Utah. So taking pictures was a wonderful way to spend a little extra time with them and to get to know their gorgeous daughter a little. She cracked me up. So much personality for this little girl.
She LOVED her mamma’s make-up kit. And, you know, all fabulous girls prep for their photo shoots.
This pose was all A. She knows how to work it already.
How much do we all love that chandelier!?! Gorgeousness.
Josh & Diana wanted a “family room” feel to their shoot… I’d say this about sums it up :) Love how these feel like just a small glimpse into their daily life.
Then - out to the yummy setting-sun light, along with a little exploring of Salt Lake’s lovely downtown.
