This wedding might top the lists of favorites. Mostly because of the amazing people (not to mention how gorgeous it was!) This wedding was actually shot by one of my best friends of all times, the amazingly talented,Ellie Grover. Her soft, whimsical style fit the wedding perfectly. And I had the privilege of getting to second shoot with her. So. Much. Fun. And just to top it off… it was the wedding of one of my other best-friends of all times. Anna was one of my roommates at Biola, and perhaps one of my favorite people on this earth. She is incredibly genuine, sweet, and a great example of what it means to live your life for Christ. Needless to say, I was so excited to get to be a part of her day with Ellie.
She and Adam (this guy had a lot to live up to marrying one of the all-time best people… but I think he might be up to the task) choose to be married in sunny Fullerton, where they will be living. It was perfect. Adobe with terra-cotta & succulents. The icons of southern California. Then, she included a nod to her years in the San Bernardino mountains with beautiful pine tree detailing. Loved everything.
Isn’t Anna just gorgeous??!?! (not to mention that bouquet, or the dress!)
I really love how these two interact, so much love there.
I’m not sure which i’m more jealous of – the California-iconic oak trees – or these AMAZING anthropologiedresses for the bridesmaids. (I may just have to go buy myself one… or Karissa, want to just lend me yours – like maybe for the year?)
Their fabulous videographer (Ryan McDuff, of McDuff Productions) is also the brother of Anna’s matron of honor, who lives so far away she couldn’t make it – so he just had to sneak into a picture in her stead
The amazing Ellie at work – you can see her pictures from Anna & Adam’s day on her blog, here. I’m blown away at how beautiful they are.
a little bit of succulent eye candy… just to make you drool. I loved all the personal touches they had.
And the evening ended with fun dances. This girl is loved by many… but I think her dad & her man take the cake.
Thank you Ellie & Anna (and Adam) for letting me be a part of this day! It was so special and wonderful.
really big hugs.
